The grey Schluter DHE RR 1/BW power module cannot be used with the RS1 Smart thermostat. It is only compatible with the Schluter DHE 104/BW wifi thermostat, or the DHE RT 102/BW touchscreen thermostat.  Similarly, the white Schluter DHE RR 2/BW power module cannot be used with either of the afore mentioned thermostats (wifi or touchscreen). This power module is only compatible with the DHE RT 105/BW Smart thermostat.  See below for the appropriate combinations. DHE RT 104/BW and DHE RT 102/BW are compatible with grey DHE RR 1/BW DHE RT 105/BW and white DHE RR 2/BW are compatible When using the smart thermostat above with a power module, there is no polarity in the low voltage communication wires between the two devices. You will, however, have to change a setting in the thermostat so that it knows to look for the power module.
