KERDI-SHOWER-CB for KERDI Drain Adapter
If you are familiar with our Schluter KERDI-Drain/KERDI-Line adapters (for tying the KERDI shower system into a pre-installed two stage drain), and you want to use a Schluter Shower Tray , then you know the tray will need to be lifted so that the drain flange will nest properly onto the shower tray recess. This is because the drain body and the adapter are installed over the subfloor rising above the surface enough to inhibit proper flange nesting on the tray. The solution required the installer to source enough 1/2" backer to fully embed beneath the shower tray to lift it enough so that the flange would nest properly. Usually this required two layers of 1/2" beneath the tray. Schluter now offers a 1" thick foam compensation board called KERDI-Shower-CB ( KSCB 25 610 1220 ), which is a 48" x 24".
