KERDI-LINE-VARIO has a standard 2" NPT threaded outlet and is supplied with 2" PVC and ABS adapters in the flange kit to assist in connecting to the most common types of 2" Drain Waste Vent (DWV) infrastructure. The outlet diameter of the drain flange was designed to meet section 408.4 of the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC), and is in conformance with the ASME A112.18.2/CSA B125.2 standard. Adhering to the aforementioned code and standard allowed for the certification of KERDI-LINE-VARIO with ICC-ES (PMG-1204) and IAPMO (File 4591) certifying bodies. VARIO meets the minimum requirements of the EPA standard 2.5 GPM flow rate, and actually exceeds this value by nearly 2x before the water level exceeds 1/4" depth at a distance of 12" from the drain. After this point, KERDI-LINE-VARIO will continue to drain, but due to the way it manages the water, the depth will be greater than 1/4" at a distance of 12" from the grate. VARIO
