Take-Off Requests & Tools for Estimating Schluter DITRA-Heat

Schluter Territory Managers and Field (Technical) Representatives get asked on a regular basis to look at plans and determine which DITRA-Heat components will be needed to complete a project.  While we are happy to provide educational training, we simply don't have enough time to walk through every request. More-over, there is information we won't readily have at our time of need - and we are removed from the end user usually by a few parties.  Thus Schluter created a very helpful online estimating tool that will walk anyone through the series of questions and ultimately yield the SKUs needed for a successful install. ⚠️ NEW JOLLY and Expanded SCHIENE Product Line

In the new 2023 Schluter Systems Price List , you will find some significant changes to the SCHIENE and JOLLY product lines.  JOLLY features a NEW design and new item codes , SCHIENE retains its original design and item codes, and several profiles previously included in the JOLLY family have now moved to the SCHIENE family.  Below is a detailed overview of these changes.  Please refer to the Price List for sizes and pricing.   Click here to download the JOLLY brochure.   JOLLY is now a true 90 degree profile with corner piece!       JOLLY profiles in PVC are unchanged and still feature an 87 degree angle, but are now called JOLLY-P .  Item codes remain the same.   SCHIENE remains unchanged in terms of design as well as item codes.  This profile features an 87 degree angle and is designed for floor applications.  Now, the SCHIENE family has grown!  All finishes suitable for floor applications from the existing 87 degree JOLLY profiles have merged into the SCHIENE family, thus inc

Shade & Texture Variation in Profiles

Shade & Texture Variation due to Raw Materials & Manufacturing Processes Similar to tile and stone, profiles are also affected by raw materials and manufacturing processes in that shades/finishes and textures may vary from batch to batch. This following statement can be found in the following Technical Data Sheets (TDS): Floor Profiles Movement Joints and Cove Shaped Profiles Stair Nosing Profiles Wall and Countertop Profiles “Due to variations in raw materials and manufacturing, the exact color, shade, and/or texture of individual profiles and related components (e.g., corners, end caps, connectors, etc.) may vary. The customer must inspect the products upon delivery and notify Schluter in writing of any physical damage to the products or nonconformity with the purchase order or invoice.” Distributors should check profiles at time of receiving. Customers should also check profiles at time of purchase/will call AND prior to installtion. 

2023 Pricelist Now Available! New prices in affect April 1st.

Set your clocks.  Each year the pricelist will be available in March.  Any price increases issued with the new book will take affect April 1st.     The 2023 Pricelist is now available!  Allocations have already been determined and shipped to distribution partners.  Distributors, BOLO.  Dealers, you may ask your respective distribution partners for a physical copy, or you may email CSRUSA@schluter.com and request a copy.   PLEASE NOTE that we are limited as a territory to a pre-determined number of pricebooks.  Once they are gone - they are gone.  DO NOT ask for anything beyond your means.   We continue to ask each to TRY the PDF .  I once was a hard copy kind of guy, and the free Schluter APP is nice too (available on Android and Apple), but the PDF is my personal favorite.  You can quickly navigate anywhere you would like to go with baked-in navigation links.  Trust me.  Worth the try.  The PDF will be available through the Schluter website soon - until then, you can click this link t
