Infinity Drains FCS Series with Schluter Systems KERDI Waterproofing Attached
This post is to inform that Schluter Systems acknowledges a partnership with Infinity Drains. The FCS series Infinity Drains will ship with Schluter Systems KERDI waterproofing membrane pre-attached. When waterproofed following details from the Schluter Systems Shower Installation Handbook, Schluter will warranty the waterproofing, and Infinity will warranty the KERDI to drain connection.

This letter is to confirm that the Schluter®-KERDI waterproofing membrane and Schluter®.
KERDI-FIX can be used in conjunction to produce a waterproof connection to an Infinity Drain® bonded flange drain when installed in accordance with the instructions outlined in the Schluter®-Shower System Installation Handbook. Refer to drain manufacturers' installation instruction guidelines for specific drain installation information.
Infinity Drain® Approved Drains:
- Bonded Flange Point Drain
- Fixed Flange Linear Drain
- Side Outlet Drain (FT)
The approved drains must incorporate a flange and area to adhere the Schluter®-KERDI waterproofing membrane to.
Schluter Systems is not responsible for the workmanship of the waterproofing connection, nor the suitability or performance of the Infinity Drain® models listed above. Schluter Systems is also not responsible for the integration of the drain or drain connection of the Infinity Drain® models listed above to the Schluter®-KERDI-SHOWER-LT/-LTS/-T/-TS/-TT family of
prefabricated substrates. For details on the suitability of the Schluter®-KERDI waterproofing membrane, refer to the Schluter®-Shower System Installation Handbook. All other aspects of the Schluter®-Shower System including, but not limited to, the bond of Schluter®-KERDI to Schluter®-KERDI-FIX will be covered under the applicable standard Schluter® warranty.
It is the responsibility of the owner, builder, and/or installer to ensure the suitability of all building materials and all associated building materials for the owner's intended use. This letter shall supersede all previous versions.
