My role has recently evolved from Territory Manager to Commercial Manager, and now to U.S. Local Product Specialist (LPS). In my new position, I will be focused on understanding the needs of all U.S. markets related to the Profile product family and serving as a voice for the sales team by collaborating closely with our internal departments.

My contact information remains unchanged. While I will continue to assist with inquiries related to my previous roles whenever possible, my new responsibilities are requiring an increasing amount of my time.

There may be scenarios where (1) our Schluter drain adapter will not properly adapt to an older and existing drain body, or (2) architects or designers may have specified a drain grate that is not compatible with our system. RNO Airport & GSR Shuttle Information

GSR Airport Shuttle Shuttle operates daily leaving every 30 minutes from 4:30 AM to 12:15 AM.  Follow airport way finding signs to baggage claim. Collect bags and exit airport through the doors in the red triangle (left picture). Immediately outside those doors is where the resort shuttle busses pick up and drop off. Wait for the GSR (Grand Siera Resort) shuttle, which runs every 15 minutes. Resort is just a few minutes from RNO airport. Shuttle leaves the GSR at the top (:00) and Bottom (:30) of the hour. Shuttle leaves RNO Airport at quarter after (:15) and quarter till (:45) each hour. Shuttles are located on the south casino entrance of the GSR. Shuttles are located north outside airport baggage claim of RNO. GSR Check in is 3:00 PM. If you arrive prior to 3 o’clock and are not able to check in, the GSR can hold your bags while you freshen up, explore the casino, or walk the property.

DITRA-Heat in Shower | Detail & Tray Adjustments

Installing DITRA-Heat in a shower increases the floor assembly height by the thickness of the membrane used; 1/4” for DITRA-Heat membrane and 5/16” for DITRA-Heat DUO membrane. DH-SH-23 is the detail taken from the DITRA-Heat installation handbook with critical information for installing DITRA-Heat in a shower application. Photos of the detail are included below. When Using Schluter Shower Trays Remove the center break-out section of the tray that supports the drain flange, highlighted in green below. Use the break-out as a template to cut a ring out of the DITRA-Heat membrane that you are using.  Install the DITRA-Heat membrane underneath the break-out support to lift the flange assembly up to meet the DITRA-Heat membrane that will be installed over the shower tray as shown below.   KERDI waterproofing membrane must be installed over the wire in the shower floor so that the sealed waterproof envelope is over the whole assembly. DITRA-Heat Testing & Alert Devices

Schluter requires 3 sets of 3 tests for a 10 year warranty, and a 4th test for an additional 5 years.  We recommend 3 sets of tests at 3 different times during a wire installation.   First set of tests while wire is ON THE SPOOL . Second set of tests AFTER SNAPPING INTO MEMBRANE . Third set of tests after tile install, but BEFORE GROUTING . TEST 1 | Resistance Test REQUIRED (Red to Black/White to Black) TEST 2 | Continuity Test REQUIRED (Red/Black to Ground or White/Black to Ground) TEST 3 | Insulation Test OPTIONAL (Red/Black to Ground or White/Black to Ground) TEST 4 | Sensor kOhm Test REQUIRED (Temp determines readout) We do this because a resistance alert device will only tell you one thing - has the wire been completely cut .  There is further damage that can happen to a wire that will affect its performance and life without an alert device ever ‘screaming’ at you.

Exterior Detail Process

EXTERIOR DETAIL REQUEST PROCESS Due to our harsh climate in the intermountain region (either baked by the Sun, or vulnerable to freeze/thaw conditions - or both) tile assemblies see limited success. In fact, it’s safe to say that it’s not if an assembly is going to show distress - but when . Distress does not necessarily mean poor or failed install. Weather adversely affects even good installations. As such, Schluter has implemented a process to protect the installer, end user and us by evaluating exterior requests on a case-by-case basis and thus eliminating high risk jobs. Exterior applications need time to study, plan, specify, estimate and install. They cannot be rushed, and ‘best’ assemblies cannot be assumed.  The LETTER OF EXPLANATION will lay out what Schluter will require before we can work towards creating a detail specific to a respective application.
